On March 20, 2014, the Knoll Workplace strategy team hosted two Knoll Exploratory Forums on workplace design for technology companies at the new Knoll San Francisco showroom. The forums were designed to encourage open discussions between designers, architecture and design managers, and end users to identify emerging trends in office design for technology industries.
The forums focused on defining the changing office, as well as the challenges of working with technology clients to create compelling workplaces that fuel innovation. The findings will be used to inform and shape the Knoll approach to creating spaces that support the way people work.
“One recurring theme we heard again and again is how important it is for workspaces to evolve -- that success in workplace design depends on how easily a space can be adapted,” said Kylie Roth, Knoll director of workplace strategy.
Knoll understands that fast-paced clients like those in tech industries demand that organizations provide compelling workplaces. Therefore, clients are continually challenged to realize the current state, recreate and and evolve.
