The option of adjustable curved backrests furthers the flexibility of this collection by Italian designer Piero Lissoni, who was inspired by the idea of an island-like platform suspended in space.

Matic is offered in four configurations, each with ample seating areas that allow the sitter to relax in a variety of positions. Adding to the versatility of these low, linear seats are adjustable curved backrests.

Offered in a choice of fabric or leather, the seats are upholstered with evenly sized squares and expertly finished with boxed edge seams. Its aluminum frame is available with a glossy or charcoal painted finish.

Made with an internal mechanism, each side of the curved backrests can be bent to a choice of two additional positions, providing added comfort for relaxation or conversation.

Construction and Details

Made with an internal mechanism, the curved end of the backrest can be bent to a choice of two additional positions, providing added comfort for relaxation or conversation.
Frame: Aluminum with a glossy or charcoal painted finish.
Seat: Wood base, elastic webbing, and variable density flexible polyurethane padding.
Arms and Back: Metal structure with variable density polyurethane foam.
Upholstered in fabric or leather (covers are not removable).
With some upholsteries, the adjustable backrests are not an option and will be fixed.
