The new Knoll Fulton Market space, which launched in June 2019 over the first-ever Knoll Design Days, made waves with the design industry trade press for its forward-looking decision to move to an emerging Chicago neighborhood. Business of Home Editor-in-Chief Kaitlin Petersen lauded the Company’s leadership of a new design community, commenting Knoll, “has a long history of moving to up-and-coming neighborhoods: New York’s SoHo, downtown Miami, downtown Los Angeles – and now Chicago’s burgeoning Fulton Market.”
Office Insight also commended the Knoll move to Fulton Market and Knoll Design Days. “The inaugural Knoll Design Days was a celebration,” writes Publisher Bob Beck, “For visitors of the new space, as designed by a collaboration among Gensler and the Knoll design team, it is a celebration of space, light, color and, of course, Knoll products from its entire constellation of brands.” Beck highlighted features on all three floors of the space – from community spaces to focused workstations to Muuto – concluding, “All in all, the new space is what you’d expect from Knoll – a delight.”
In addition, Archiproducts provided a tour and highlighted Florence Knoll’s “total design” perspective within the new Knoll Chicago Fulton Market space.
