Students learned about the company’s rich history – ranging from the pioneering Modernists to the outstanding contemporary talent worked with today – as well as its commitment to design excellence. “I’m guessing that for many of our students, this could have been their first visit to a factory, let alone to one with a deep commitment to design,” stated Alan Greenberger, the Department Head of Architecture, Design & Urbanism at Drexel University, “Everything we saw reinforces the principles of good design, careful craft and a humane work environment – a trifecta.”
Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Drexel University Interior Design Program aims to provide aspiring design talent with an all-encompassing notion of design – from interior spaces to the exterior ones and the behavioral elements that may inform them.
