When Stanford University School of Medicine constructed the Jill and John Freidenrich Center for Translational Research (FCTR) at the University’s Palo Alto campus, RMA Design Studios and Knoll dealer, Hogue and Associates, created an interactive environment that would increase efficiency and enhance the University’s clinical and translational research programs.
FCTR’s open plan office features a blend of Antenna® Workspaces screens and Template™ storage solutions, which defines space between workstations and work groups in the open landscape while supporting filing and binder storage needs. Sapper™ Monitor Arms support the changing demands of technology while helping plan space efficiently to maximize productivity. Private offices also feature Template™ and utilize the height of an enclosed space to provide a space-efficient storage with a shallow workwall footprint. Private offices also feature Copeland™ Lamps.
Generation by Knoll® seating is used throughout the FCTR open plan and private offices, and provides freedom and mobility throughout the work day. The conference room features a Propeller® Conference Table and Chadwick™ chairs.
