OfficeInsight, the weekly digital magazine for workplace design professionals, featured the new Parameters office in its September 2019 edition. Led by Parameters Partners Lauri Bolin and David Haines in collaboration with Studio BV Founder and Principal Betsy Vohs, the Minneapolis-based Knoll dealer designed its new workplace with a holistic point-of-view. “I envisioned a refined space that could tell a clear brand story,” Vohs states. “A space that could showcase the products in an environment that speaks to prospective clients.”
In order to design a space that reflected clients’ needs, Haines and Bolin interviewed interior designers, project managers, brokers and sales representatives. “The responses we got were pretty much all over the place,” says Haines, reflecting the overall demand for a diversity of spaces in today’s workplace. The result is an amalgamation of workstations, flexible meeting spaces and community areas that showcase the variety of products as well as the breadth of materials and finishes Knoll offers.
Overall, the new 16,000 square foot location in the heart of Minneapolis’ business district allows clients to envision the possibilities for their own workspace, demonstrating how furniture and technology can come together to create a balanced combination of environments suited to the evolving workstyles of today.
