Wake Forest University School of Business: Farrell Hall

Farrell Hall, the new home to the Wake Forest University School of Business, opened in November 2013. The university worked with Knoll, dealer Carolina Business Interiors, and architecture firm Robert AM Stern to create dynamic spaces that support learning and help student-faculty engagement thrive. The new four-story, 130,000 square foot space features state-of-the-art technology and groundbreaking design.

Media Enclaves, designed to allow small groups to connect devices and lap tops and work from a single display, feature ReGeneration by Knoll® chairs positioned around a Dividends Horizon® Table. Adjacent faculty offices feature Reff Profiles® desks, which offer planning flexibility and technology support, as well as Generation by Knoll® task chairs and Saarinen Executive Side Chairs.

The school’s 18 flexible, high-tech and high-touch classrooms are designed to encourage student engagement. The ergonomic Generation by Knoll® and MultiGeneration by Knoll® chairs are designed to respond to users’ movements while offering unparalleled support. A large community space features a range of lounge furniture for casual encounters. Florence Knoll Table Desks paired with Ricchio® Side Chairs along the perimeter of the space allow students to work alone or in small groups.
