The Chicago Tribune's Sunday magazine included the Womb Settee in its January 28, 2015, "favorite red looks for February." The piece, entitled "Seven ways to fall in love with red," highlighted the piece with "room for two," which Knoll reintroduced in 2015.
The Womb Settee, first known as the Model 73, is the double-wide version of Eero Saarinen's classic Womb Chair. Saarinen originally designed the piece, which sits two, in 1948, expressly for the architect's first major commission.
