Harry Bertoia

Harry Bertoia

Italian sculptor and furniture designer Harry Bertoia and Florence Knoll (then Schust) met as students at Cranbrook Academy of Art. He chose metal. “When it came to rod or wire, whether bent or straight, I seemed to find myself at home,” he said.
