  • Seat and back are woven vinyl coated polyester mesh.
  • Straps are solid pure vinyl with no fillers and are sewn onto the mesh seat and back with teflon thread.
  • Frame is welded cast and extruded aluminum finished in weather resistant polyester powder coat.

Richard Schultz

Richard Schultz was an integral part of the Knoll story, beginning in 1951 when he was hired to assist Harry Bertoia on the development and production of his wire chairs. This led to a position in the Design Development Group, where he designed many elegant collections for outdoor living—the first of which was designed for Florence Knoll’s seaside Florida home.
