Alexander Girard

A prolific designer, Alexander Girard created furniture, interiors, wallpapers, and textiles. He served as the design director for Herman Miller’s textile division for nearly 20 years, and was the mastermind behind the award-winning interior of La Fonda del Sol restaurant in New York City’s Time-Life Building.
