    Key Benefits

VERSATILE DESIGN. Antenna Simple tables plan independently or can be linked to create team workspaces. The column legs can be “outset” at the corners for maximum leg space when linking end to end or inset to create an overhang that invites users to collaborate on all sides. Four simple legs on glides or casters support a wide variety of top sizes and shapes and varying degrees of user mobility.

ENHANCED PERFORMANCE. Antenna Simple tables offer a discreet linking mechanism as well as continuous power capability under the worksurface. The stiffener performs triple duty: stiffening tops up to 84”W, managing excess cables and providing an accessible mount for a plugstrip or modular power components.

NEUTRAL AESTHETIC. Antenna Simple tables are visually compatible with Antenna workspaces and other Knoll systems and Activity Spaces products. With a large scope of standard finishes, top materials and accessories Antenna Simple tables are at home anywhere in the office.

    Enhancing the Beauty of Wood

More than ever, office design today relies on the warmth and natural beauty of wood to infuse a feeling of hospitality into the workplace. For nearly 80 years, Knoll has brought the refinement and performance of wood to work environments, helping to create inspiring places for people to do their best. Our focus on proportion and scale, the appropriate use of materials and finishes, and attention to detail is unsurpassed.

Our new finishing technology expands our wood manufacturing expertise, combining the timelessness of good design with the enduring qualities of careful workmanship.

Our core collection consists of over 30 natural and Techwood veneers. In addition, we now offer open and closed pore options, and up to three levels of gloss: high, medium, and low — giving specifiers a greater range of design options to realize their vision.

Antenna Design was founded in 1997 by Masamichi Udagawa, a Cranbrook Academy graduate, and Sigi Moeslinger, who holds degrees from NYU and Art Center College of Design. Antenna's people-centered design approach aims to make the experience of objects and environments more meaningful and exciting. Among Antenna’s best known projects are the design of New York City Subway cars and ticket vending machines, JetBlue check-in kiosks and displays for Bloomberg.

When Knoll set out to create a new open plan office system, Antenna’s experience with the ever-expanding presence of technology, and their expertise in user experience made them an attractive collaborative partner. Together Knoll and Antenna conceived Antenna Workspaces, an innovative open plan system, which reflects Udagawa and Moeslinger’s interest in functional simplicity and their expertise in using design as a tool of social interaction that bridges people and technology.

Antenna has been recognized with several prestigious design awards, including the National Design Award in Product Design from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Both Udagawa and Moeslinger are senior critics in graphic design at the Yale University School of Art.
