House Beautiful, a magazine that that focuses on interior design and the home, featured the Tulip chair and Bertoia Diamond chair in its 2020 September issue. In its editorial series, Design School, House Beautiful editors unpacked the designs that shaped the mid-century Modern movement in America. "Mid-century means more than just one thing. The aesthetic revolution was ushered in with these iconic seat shapes," noting the streamlined design of Eero Saarinen's 1958 Tuilp chair and ergonomic sensibility of Harry Bertoia's 1952 Diamond chair.
In addition, AD Pro celebrated the Risom barstool in its From the Source newsletter and Instagram series hosted by Architectural Digest Market Editor Madeleine O'Malley and AD Pro Associate Editor Mel Studach. During the series, both editors share their roundup of favorite products and design news. The Risom barstool expands on the iconic Jens Risom Collection of tables, chairs and outdoor furniture. Described as good, honest furniture design, the Risom Collection helped establish Knoll as an early pioneer of Modernism in America.
