The Volume 5, Number 4 issue of the UK-based Corporate Real Estate Journal included a research paper by Kylie Roth, Knoll Senior Director of Workplace Research, and Nicole Mirchandani, Knoll Senior Director of Market Development, on the rise of shared workspaces in the sphere of contemporary office design.
Titled “The rise of co-working: A growing workplace movement,” the article discusses the worldwide trend of shared offices, the rationale behind the movement, and its statistical growth in recent years. With the goal to equip corporate real estate executives with enough resources and insights to explore co-working environments as a practical real estate strategy, the article provides an overview of the new paradigm in workplace design and its role in the near future.
A reprint of Roth and Mirchandani’s research is also offered as a white paper available for download from the Knoll Research Library.
