New York, NY, November 29, 2018 – KnollTextiles (NYSE: KNL) has introduced the 2018 Knoll Luxe Collection by KnollTextiles Creative Director, Dorothy Cosonas, celebrating the Knoll Luxe brand’s tenth anniversary.
Commenting on the 2018 Luxe Collection, Cosonas said “Knoll Luxe is a laboratory for design innovation, offering forward-thinking, cutting-edge textiles that are accessible while pushing the limits of embellishment and weaving techniques.”
Using the runway as her muse, Cosonas conceives Knoll Luxe collections as high fashion for the modern interior. Her designs combine hand workmanship with innovative technology and custom color palettes, indulging in the delights of alluring upholstery and drapery fabrics.
The 2018 Collection includes four upholstery fabrics and two draperies inspired by the colors, materials and concepts – from playful fringe to abstract florals – in ready-to-wear and high fashion collections. The 2018 Collection offers enticing patterns, textures and solids that add character and luxury to residential, hospitality and workplace interiors.
Over the past ten years, Cosonas has designed eight Knoll Luxe collections and has collaborated with notable fashion designers Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Suno and Maria Cornejo. Knoll Luxe designs are included in the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum’s permanent collection; many have also won prestigious industry awards.
