State University Medical Center

When this State University Medical Center opened its new facility in Omaha, Nebraska, the University turned to Knoll and U.S. Communities to furnish the space with products that would reflect the architecture of its new, 62,000 square foot building, which houses office space for faculty and staff, classrooms, conference rooms and an 80-seat auditorium.

For the Medical Center's classrooms, the University selected MultiGeneration by Knoll®, which encourages natural movement, allowing users to focus, interact and communicate more effectively by supporting multiple postures and a diversity of people in a variety of environments. Collaborative meeting areas in the University's lobby feature Moment™ chairs, which offer a streamlined, cantilevered design, and Saarinen Womb Chairs and Side Tables. EWC Pro™ Side Chairs, which were selected for private conference rooms, provide easy-to-use ergonomic seating.

The cafe in an adjoining campus space features Saarinen Dining Tables paired with Spark™ chairs, providing a perfect balance of form and function that is pleasing to the eye, comfortable and efficient.
